Excuse me if any technical term isn’t correct but I am a backend develeoper and I don’t know much of frontend and I am using your template in italian language.

The a.continue-reading-link is not managed by the parabola_metaback.
For background color seems to managed by the background color of principal menu.

    How reproduce the problem.
    – set colors of pricipal menu in a manner that differ from background metadata color
    – in “post excerpt settings” section set the “page archive and categories” with excerpt (third top down cell in the section)
    – set the home page that have to display last articles
    – create an article
    – the continue to reading button isn’t displayed as set in the “meta data” backend color set in the solor setting section.

Other elements (mofify button, author, category, data, tags) seems work as a charm.

    regards
    Danilo

The continue reading button is indeed not controlled by the meta colour options (as it is not part of the metas), but uses the same colours as the menu items. This is a design choice.
